PRE-ORDER: The Myths of Feminism: How I escaped and found a path to a more fulfilling womanhood
I am writing this book for the woman who is wondering if the feminist framework under which you were raised is serving you well. Maybe you are starting to see through feminism and are wondering if there can be another perspective to seeing this whole female/male dynamic, career/motherhood prioritization, and who we are told we are as women by the feminist narrative. As young women, many of us became captured by feminist ideology, but I hope that through reading this, you will not be left as another victim of feminism.
When I first began my deprogramming from feminism, I wrote a tweet thread that started with this: "When I was a feminist I didn't understand: 'feminists destroy the family.' Science progressed. I worked 70+ hrs a week, checking experiments at 3 am, in lab at Christmas... My friends had children. Now they have families and I have publications. Don't make my mistake."
The biggest myth of my life was that career is what would fulfill me, I needed to break a glass ceiling, and I should prioritize it before anything else in my life. I have since recalibrated. I am working on my family. I have pulled back from science in a big way. But the scars are still there and yes, many regrets as well.
In this book, I will outline at least the top 10 lies/myths that feminism has sold to modern girls and women. These are the ones I found most crucial to help me understand how deep our programming has been. It took me a lot of pain and experience to figure them out. Once I was able to see through these myths (which took a long time), I was able to finally release the chains of feminism and embrace womanhood joyously. The exposure of each lie will incorporate detailed background information, the propaganda used on us, and the nuance that is lacking. I then provide an alternative framework for approaching these issues, which is based in reality and truth. I hope I can save a young woman out there from making the same mistakes as me.
The final chapters will discuss how we move forward and create a more joyfully, honest, and gratitude-filled life, finally free from feminism.
A pdf of the final book once it is complete. Goal is completion in Spring 2024.
